What are these switches for??

Hello everyone!
Recently purchased a travel trailer manufactured by Forest River for Poulsbo RV in WA named a Rainier. Was paying attention the best I could during dealer walk-thru but missed the explanation of two illuminated switches on the wall with all the other controls. When I turn them on I can hear what sounds like a small fan. The noise is coming from the area of the fuse panel/breaker box. I am thinking they are possible for an inverter or similar equipment. Any suggestions? Also, I found some paperwork for matt type tank heaters for the waste tanks and am wondering how those are controlled? Is there a thermostat that turns them on and off or do I need to worry about battery draining all the time?
Looking forward to years of happy camping in my new rig!

Hi and Welcome to FRF from Camano Island. My wife grew up in Concrete.
The Rainier is a clone of the Vibe line, I think. It's made specifically for Poulsbo dealers.
Pics of the switches are more helpful.

The switches in question are the two red illuminated switches on the left (bottom). The fan noise I hear in only when both switches are on. Any ideas?

The noise you're hearing is the fan in the converter... which means at least one of those switches activates something powered by 12vDC. I suspect tank heaters but my unit only has one lighted switch for all four tanks.

I'm guessing "2021 Forest River Rainier 30RLR".

2021 Forest River Rainier 30RLR is basically a Vibe 30RLR. Both switches have to be on for me to hear the fan noise. Turn either one off and the noise stops. Seems strange. I do have tank heaters but have yet to identify a way to turn off or on. Are yours temp controlled?

As mentioned above likely tank heaters for a winterization package. Check your owners manual to see if it mentions a cold weather package. Some call it Arctic, could be any real name that equals cold. If that does not answer you I would contact the dealership and just ask them.
