What does this switch go to?
I have a 2006 coachmen/starcraft aruba 28' 5th wheel. There is a switch below the sink on the cabinet. It is the standard 12v light switch type, but I can't figure out what it goes to.

Being how old this rig is, there’s no telling if the switch was factory or a mod from a previous owner.
Can you open or remove any drawers nearby to see where the wiring is headed?
If not, and assuming it might be factory, and I hate to assume anything, it could be the switch to control the water heater, or the water pump, or exterior awning lights etc.
After that, it could be anything the person who installed it, wanted it to be to drive us all crazy.

not a factory switch, placement looks very out of the ordinary. Rewired water pump switch?

Some people added remote switches to the electric element on the water heater, before manufacturers did. Without that, the only way to turn the electric element on or off was by using the switch inside the water heater exterior hatch.
It could be anything. The only way to know is to follow the wires.

Remove the drawer directly beneath it and peek under there. Might find it now goes nowhere.

I can trace it when I get some time. I do think it is a factory switch because it is the same as the other 12v light switches in the trailer. There are switches for gas and electric water heater and water pump in the control center. It might be for awning lights. Awning is missing, so can't check that, but would think that would be with the other interior and exterior lights in the control center.

Garbage disposal would need a 110v., so that is not it. I deleted that part. The placement of the switch is very suspect. A rewired water pump switch? It looks to be in front of a below the sink. Lights? Suspect location for a light switch. 'Kill' switch for some parasite leak?

switch
switches seem to be standard for all RV's, even aftermarket. I can type 12v RV switch and most all will come up looking like that one. Trace the wires to where it goes.

We had an odd switch like that on our Rockwood Mini-Lite. It was for the tank heaters.

Switch?
We have a FR Surveyor 2012 and have a switch just under the sink for the hot water heater to turn it on(Its propane, not electric). Turns red trying to light the heater and goes out when it succeeds. Also we know when we are out of propane since it stays lit after 3 unsuccessful attempts to light.
