What to try to end poor TV reception

We ended up with a 1996 trailer that we're now fixing up a bit. All is well except the TV reception. We know the location could be a problem, but our trailer is next door, similar setting, and we are fine. We bought a new flat screen for it, bought a new TV antenna head (with HD etc) and added an additional booster (recommended by Menards). We don't know if the power booster in the wall is working correctly (not sure how to tell or if we can replace it). It only shows 6 channels and I have to keep moving the antenna to keep them clear or get them in at all. My other trailer is next door and if I reprogram the TV, it gets about 25-28 channels.

Not sure what else to do or where to check or try. This group has been amazing with suggestions in the past--hoping someone may have some ideas.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
Got a volt meter? Turn booster on and check for voltage in coax at antenna center conductor
Also connections on back of wallplate

Has there been any LED lighting upgrades?
Many inexpensive LED bulbs create havoc with TV/radio reception.
