Wifi Ranger

I have a Flagstaff 26Fbs witha prewired wifiranger sky4. Anyone know how I can find the router. The antenna is off center on the roof so is cabled in the ceiling. There is a power switch for it on the main swich panel. Everything works like it's supposed to but I need a physical connection to the router.

The whole thing is in that little unit on the roof, there is no option for an Ethernet connection.

Turn it on. On your computer or tablet connect to the Ranger (I forget the IP address, but you can see it on your available Wifis. Then follow instructions.

Here's manual:

WiFi Ranger IMHO is junk! Good Luck!

Thanks Doug. I was afraid that might be the case but all the product descriptions I could find seemed to indicate a separate modem. These is very disappointing.

Thans Cboss. I have it working. I want to use my cell phone Hotspot as the wifi source but it only sort of works. I can get the ranger to connect to my phone as the source but it won't pull internet. I was hoping to maybe tether instead of Hotspot but I need access to the router.

Just use the hotspot and forget the Ranger. We have been using our Jetpack or cell phones for years. The Ranger is not required.

Separate modem is an LTE modem that plugs into the circuit board inside the antenna to give it 4G data capability. That might be what you were reading.

The problem I was hoping to solve was my cell Hotspot only having a range of abt 5 ft. And I definitely don't want to add carrier capability to the ranger due to the cost.

Hmm you could try connecting the wifi ranger to your Hotspot for its internet, then connect your devices to the wifi ranger. Since it's antenna is up on the roof, your devices should then work all over the place (half the campground).
