Hello,

I just purchased a new 2019 Roo 23ikss which came with the Rayzar tv antenna.

When I turn the antenna amp on by pushing the button on the coax faceplate the power led goes on for a millisecond then off.

From what I’ve read on other forums this is indicative of a problem most likely a short.

I pulled the faceplate off to get to the back where the coaxial connections are so I could pull them one at time to isolate the issue.

When I pull the one feeding the antenna itself the led light comes on solid and stays on.

My question is has anyone dealt with this before on this particular antenna? I fear the only way to get to the connections up there would be to pull the antenna off of the roof ie: breaking the seal between the unit and the roof.

I purchased the trailer a pretty good distance from where I live so I’m not even sure who would take care of this warranty wise... Thoughts ?

Mine was under a cover that I removed the Dicor from around and removed the cover. Tightened the connection after taking apart and cleaning real good. Put the cover back on and resealed with self leveling Dicor. Worked great. You can do that and check it first before resealing.
