Winegard WIFI Router Question w Picture

Was hoping someone can tell this gal if the wires I have circled are supposed to be connected to a rocker switch to power this darn thing up!?

New owner of an extremely lightly used (2x) very well cared for Freedom Express and there’s no switch to be found. I think it’s not connected.

Thank you! Such a helpful forum.

Moved thread from the Modifications and Updates section to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to Electronics.

They look like they're connected directly to power. A switch wouldn't do anything.

Following up incase it helps someone else..spoke with Winegard and those two capped wires do need to be connected to a rocker switch to power on and off for Wifi.

For clarification, those wires are not "capped" they are "connected". The unknown here is; what is at the other end of those wires.

You need a 12V source (battery/converter) to power the unit. You need a switch to turn if off when not in use to save battery power.

I'm thinking the purpose of this thread is because the unit does not have power. Who knows what the PO wired it to.
