Wired for WI-FI

Hi everyone. New to the camp life . We’ve purchased a Forrest River Wildwood Xlite , that says it’s pre-wired for WiFi .. This is probably a silly question, Wondering if that means it has a Router or a built in extender , or if you have to buy your own .

This is what is installed from what I can tell based on the info you provided.

Not real sure of the exact equipment in your specific unit but this is what FR started with in 2020 and your model is listed as preinstslled.

Typically campground wifi is terrible with a few exceptions so even repeating it does not do a lot of good. If you are just checking email amd going to web pages you will be fine. Steaming video is likely not going to happen in most places. Also it appears the antenna that comes with it can be improved as well so not sure what kind of gain you will get out of it. At least it can extend the hotspot of your phone if you want and keep everything in the trailer connected.

Congrats on the new camper! Good luck!

Not to make light of your question but it DOES sound like an oxymoron [emoji23]
