On mine, monitor and camera have to be manually paired. I've lost pairing several times. But none in the last few months, it's stayed paired. But that's what mine did driving down the road home from the dealer on initial purchase....and several times since then.

What model number do you have, I say this because one is just for backup and although you can use it for to run all the time but on those the signal is weak, and the other one is for to run all the time they are the observation which can run at all time?

One more thing that the dealer like to install the weaker one which is a backup camera only.

Back up camera

I can't be sure about model number on my RVS System as I viewed the list of products on their site and found a couple where the photo of the camera matches mine (770613-112 and 770619N) but doesn't match any numbers on the label on the camera. 15456 is the only thing that appears might be a model. Also the screen on mine in integrated in the dash with the GPS and sound system - since they work, I assume the problem lies with the camera.

I hooked mine into the trailer lights and in the daytime I have to manually turn my headlights on to get it to work

Since you have a GM, try turning on your fog lamps. Those usually turn on the running lights on the trailer, engaging the camera. It works on my setup.

Rear View Camera system.

I heard back from the company. They recommended a hard reset by unplugging all the wires from the multiplexer box - a silver box located inline between the camera and the monitor. Problem now is: Where is the box? I've searched in various cabinets and such and no luck. Since the camera is located above the rear window and monitor is located where a normal rear-view mirror would be, I'm guessing that the wiring is located in the upper part of the RV.. but still no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry the photo is so bad.. scan from a PDF file.

The multiplex box is likely toward the front of you unit. Maybe under dash, on firewall, under a seat, or in a front cabinet. All the cameras feed to it and a single cable should feed monitor.

Thanks all. Once I learned that there was such a thing as a multiplexer box and approximately where it is located, I was able to bend my back in ways unintended and located the box ... with a cable unpluged - apparently by my big foot when applying the brakes at some point. Plugging in the cable and a twist tie fixed that.

Glad you got it worked out!
