Wolf pup tv bracket

Hi all, bought a tv for my wolf pup and the holes in the bracket do not line up with the holes in the back of the tv. Is there some sort of adapter I need to buy? If so, what is it. Thanks!

You need to tell us the brand and size of the TV and what the VESA mounting pattern is on both the TV and the mounting bracket.
Also, a pic of both would help.

The holes on the tv are 8 inches apart horizontally, and 4 inches apart vertically. The bracket that came with the pup is a 4.5 inch square with many holes. Is there a way for me to post photos? Sorry for the double post, wasnt sure which category was best.
It's an insignia tv, 32"

Ok, so you have a VESA 800 x 400 mount pattern. You can buy a new mount that says will fit here for $12.99.
Ultra-Slim Fixed Wall Mount Bracket for 32-55 inch TVs, Max 143 lbs. - Monoprice.com
IMO, $13.00 to not fiddle with an adapter is money well spent.
I have a VESA 400 x 300 Samsung, it took me 3 days to make an adapter plate for my bracket.
Yes, pics are easy, click the photo icon on top of this box to go to your library to post.
No biggie on double post, did not want to have people posting two places is all, easier to follow that way.

Thanks so much! Just to clarify, will this new bracket allow me to use the one mounted in the camper? Or are you suggesting ordering a new one and mounting it instead?

Just buy a new one, like the one I posted. That mount does not swivel but many others extend, swivel ect. I am not familar with your unit so sometimes it is nice to have a mount that extends and swivels.
No matter which you buy, make sure it is VESA 800 (Width 8") x 400 (Height 4") compatable and overall fits the hole you mount it in.
Keep us posted on your solution, it will help others.

Decided to try this before replacing the mount. We are apprehensive about drilling new holes into the camper. It looks like it will allow us to use the existing mount. Arriving tomorrow, will keep you posted

Robot Check
I learned a few more details about VESA mounting and gave you the wrong conversion above. If I under stand the conversion correctly....
You said you had 8 inches horizontally and 4 inches vertically. Inches to millimeters would be a VESA 200 X 100 pattern which this adapter plate has.
Sorry for the confusion and wrong initial advice. I am embarrassed for misleading you as that was not my intention.
I am glad you did not buy the mount I posted, it would not have worked for your TV.
Keep us posted.

How did you attach your plate to the one from Amazon? Are the holes threaded on the adapter plate?

No the holes aren't threaded. First I attached the bracket that came with the camper to the plate w screws and locking nuts. Then i screwed the plate directly into the threaded holes on the tv--needed some washers and spacers for that part. All the hardware we needed came with the plate. I'm not handy at all but did it myself!

Ahhh ok, so you used spacers to get the mounting plate away from the tv a bit, to make room for the other screw heads. Thanks for the info, I'll be ordering one!!
