Red face ZX 300 Concertone Entertainment System

We have a Wolfpack purchased in 2006. Having trouble with CD they play for 14 seconds and stop... have tried cleaning unit. Taking whole thing out and (took it to repair guy, he couldn't fix) put it back in still does same thing. Not to mechaincally inclined, does anyone no what to try next? Everything I read about Concertone scares me away. Maybe should just purchase something else, but then how will that hook in?

the most common replacement is a Jensen. depends on whether your Concertone is tall or short. Jensen only makes the short type and cabinet mods will be necessary if you have the tall one.
