1550 White Mountain Highway (Rt. 16) North Conway NH 03860

Heading to North Conway NH tomorrow and was curious as to the best way to get there from Easton PA? We will be in a 32 ft Pursuit and we will start the day at 6am.

Thanks for your advice.
Dirk

We drove to Franconia Notch NH (west of conway) via 287/684/84/91.

Oops! You're probably on the road by now. However, read on for a wonderful "Loop" drive through the White Mountains.

While you're in the North Conway area (and after you have set up camp) take your TV on our favorite "Loop" ride in northern NH. From North Conway, follow Rt. 16 south to Rt. 112 and turn west onto the Kancamagus Scenic Byway (Rt. 112) which runs from Conway to Lincoln, NH. At Lincoln, take I-93 north past Franconia Notch State Park and then head east at Exit 35 onto Rt. 3. Follow Rt. 3 north toward Twin Mountain, NH. If it's a clear day, you can see the western side of Mt. Washington in the distance from Twin Mountain. At Twin Mountain, turn east onto Rt. 302. Rt. 302 is another amazing ride which will take you through Crawford Notch State Park and then wind-up back in N. Conway. This loop is about 2.5-hours driving time, but you'll want to stop and view the scenery along both the "Kanc" and Rt. 302.

There are many short hikes to waterfalls on this route and they provide a refreshing rest stop and picnic opportunity while on the "Loop".

Beautiful ride on the Kanc. The rest of that loop is pretty nice too. Just got home from a trip to Maine/New Hampshire. When I was heading East from Upstate New York the GPS led me onto the Kanc about 20 miles west of Lincoln. Never knew it continued on beyond Lincoln. Previously had always ridden back across to Conway and Maine or North or South on I-93.

Like somebody else said, you're likely already there by now but I just went up there from Lake Wallenpaupack a couple weeks ago: I84, I90, I495 to I95 to Portsmouth, then picked up 16 north all the way.
