Allegany County, MD Fairgrounds and DelFest

https://www.times-news.com/news/loca...8ccd307e3.html
DelFest is a big draw for our area. The improvements for the fairgrounds will carry-over to other activities plus... I was talking to someone who works out there and he told me that when there are no activities, the full hookups should be available for others on weekends. Rates should be in the +/- $35/night range.Click image for larger version

That's actually true for a LOT of fairgrounds. They're usually no frills but generally inexpensive stays.

We normally spend 4-7 nights at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds a week or two before their annual fair. FHU’s, 50amp, for ~$30/night. County fairgrounds are a good deal when they are not having a major event.

Yep... we've stayed at a couple fairgrounds.
The South FL Fairgrounds are very reasonable when the fair or other event isn't going on.
