Amish Family RV Repair IN Hotel

Ok we will be at Amish Family RV Repair in Topeka IN Nov 6 through 10th. Getting a 2nd new roof. We have our walk around Nov 7th fix date 9 and 10th. We are staying at Indian Lakes Campground but will need a hotel probably two nights any close recommendations?

you really have to go to Goshen for hotels, there is a Fairfield and a Holiday Inn express there. I have stayed at both either one is fine, and your best choices. Also you have to go to Goshen and even Elkhart to find dinner.

Well been a few years since we were there but I remember there are some hotels around the Amish Family RV Repair hope someone else jumps in.

Sorry but there are not any, I am through there for work quite a bit.
My prior post was your best hotel options, your only other option is a cabin at Indian Lakes Campground, that's about 7 miles east of the repair shop, Goshen is about 12 miles NW of the shop. There are no hotels in Topeka, you can find some lower price places in Goshen if price is of concern but I have not stayed at them so I don't want to recommend them, maybe someone else here has.

Well staying at the Blue Gate INN problem though the Amish Family RV Repair said we could stay at the Indian Lakes Campground without water.

Never called them till now no deal they close Oct 31 no one is allowed in. So hop we do not have to start at the blue gate Inn for 5 nights that will add to the repair costs. Figure it will cost us $ 2,000 or more to get there from PA alone. Diesel has dropped in PA but still $4.50 per gallon. Waiting to get an email reply from Amish Family RV Repair as to RV Parks

Never stayed in one with relatives in the area, but I'd definately be staying up the road in Shipshewana motels. 3 or 4 spots that look very well kept from the ouside. This is going into tourist season so definately reserve in advance. Bet Google has reviews. 5/20 Country kitchen at corner of routes 5 & 20 between Topeka and Shipi was very good pre-covid. Haven't been there since. I find the drive right up rt 5 easier than Goshen, but Goshen is bigger with more selection.

Shipshewana RV Park has limited spots with out water between 10/31 & 11/15.
Open April 15 - November 15*
*Site water & shower house available May 1 - Oct. 31 only.

We stayed at Chain O'Lakes State Park when we were there early in Nov a few years back. It was the only park with FHU that we could find, then stayed at the Blue Gate Inn in Shipshewana overnight one night while Orvan had the fiver in the shop. Chain O'Lakes is about 30 minutes or so away from Orvan's.
Be aware, we found Chain O' Lakes interior roads tight to maneuver with the fiver due to tree limbs so there was need to walk a couple sites. It is a beautiful State Park with multiple lakes. Was back to see Orvan's a few weeks ago. They are skilled craftsmen and wonderful people. Safe Travels!

I believe the campground at the Shipshewana Flea Market is open with full hook ups until Nov 15th, for hotels there are the Blue Gate, Farmstead Inn, Super 8, Der Motel all in Shipshewana, Das Hesenhaus and a Hampton Inn in Middlebury

We stayed at the Farmstead Inn and Convention center in July when we were there. There is also the Blue Gate Garden Inn and Super 8. These are all located on the main road into Shipshewana off of Hwy 20
