Glad you enjoyed it! We stayed there for two weeks back in the 80s, on lot 7. Did you check out the Maritime Museum in Bath, L L Bean in Freeport or the waterfront dining in Boothbay?

One very patient wife and one furry child who travels with us. Forty-two years of trailering and camping, and I still have a blast.

We went to Boothbay each day and ate on the harbor. Since I was a kid my family has went on vacation to Boothbay. This trip we went to the Pinaquid (sp?) Light House, Ocean Point, Kennebunkport (saw the Bush compound), Whale watching and saw whales the entire trip, and devoured 22 lobster between the two of us. Maniac Lobster is 1 minute away from the camp ground. He'll cook and have ready 5 lobster for $35 bucks. We love Boothbay no chain restaurants, no Burger Kings or Wendy's, just great family owned businesses. If you love art and pottery you'll like Edgecomb and Georgetown Potters. It was great taking the Road Glide, if it was nice we were on it. Awesome views on the bike. We also hiked a few days. Highly recommend Oven's Mouth, very cool tidal river views.
