Any recommendations for the North Shore of Boston or Cape Ann?

A few quick ideas. I live NW of Boston and have stayed at 2 & 3 below.

1. A lot of people like Minuteman Campground in Littleton. Used to be a KOA but recently gave up its affiliation. Very nice campground but well outside of Boston. On the 495 loop.

2. Salisbury State park, Salisbury. Fills up in the summer and very hard to get three way hookups. No Alcohol Allowed. An area where the roads get very busy. Campground is right on the Merrimack river where it meets the ocean.

3. Winter Island, Salem. Very hard to get an opening. Very quiet in the heart of the greater Salem area and right on the water. Can get two way hookups with an offsite dump station.

4. Harold Parker state park, Andover/Middleton. Haven't been there in years but is a no hookup typical New England state park. Good base location but low on my list.
