Campsite in Florida?

Looking for a campsite in Florida to establish a Florida residency but still be able to travel around Florida.

We stay at Villa Margaret, Okeechobee, Florida. 55 and up, laid back, very good mgmt, nice medical center nearby. PM me if you want more.

You don't need a campsite, you need a mail service.

This answers that and more:

We really like it here in Majestic Oaks RV Resort in Zephyrhills. Nice sized sites, a VERY well maintained park, reasonable rates, good activities in season, really good, friendly people, and there are quite a few people who stay year round.

We have US postal service for each site at a centralized mailbox set up.

I am thinking of contacting Escapees of FL to use to forward my mail to them during our summer trip. I am not sure yet how we will do that as this is our first year as Florida residents and our other option is to have a friend pick up our mail but I don’t like the idea of burdening someone with that.

Use the park advisor app to find campgrounds, then look up their websites. If you're moving around a lot, in or out of FL, use a mail service like Escapees. If you're full-timing, once you establish your establish domicile in FL, driver's license, voting registration, etc., never let it go.

Very few sites left for next year, on site post office that will forward or hold mail as requested.

www.travelersrestresort.com

I invite you to go to our web site (above) and look around, click on the newspaper heading and open the latest edition, March 19, 2021 and go to page 3 and there is a comparison of local parks.

Recently there has been a lot of inquiries about moving / wintering in Florida. You are not alone, There are over 1000 people a day moving to Florida, many of them arriving in there RV. A year ago, Just before the Pandemic, RV parks were full and it looks like they are heading in that direction for the fall 2021 season. Once you pick a park that fits your budget and life style you will find that the friendships you make bonds you together and little else matters.
