As long as you hit Atlanta at the right time and stay away from Chicago. I think you will be OK.

A lot depends on time line, how long you plain to drive each day, how much you like to get off interstate, how much you want to stay on interstate. If time is a major factor your best and fastest route is interstate. Look around as much as possible there are a lot of very interesting things to see and enjoy with family as you travel. Stop as often as you can and always DO NOT DRIVE IF SLEEPY

Leaving on the afternoon of the 21st. Need to be there by the 25th. Time will likely be a factor. Not so much on the way home.

It depends on the Walmart. Just pay attention to the situation and surroundings. For the most part, it's just fine.

Made it to our first overnight Walmart.
It was ok. Signs saying no overnight parking, but I guess the other 5 Rv’s didn’t see that either?
Gen stopped halfway through the night. ( bonehead forgot about the 1/4 tank cutoff)
Today made it another 4 hours till the wife found an outlet mall.
Might have time for a nap?
Goal today is another 6 hours, ending up somewhere south of Kansas City Mo.
Plugging along at 60mph. Enjoying the ride!
Haven’t killed the kids yet either, so win?

Good looking rig Ken !

I assume you are now going I-95 to I-4 to FW ? That's more of a 3 plus hour RV drive.

Heads up on a lot of I-4 construction near Altamont Srings (I 4 & 436 area).

Drive safe !
