Anyone going to the NASCAR Coke 600 race this memorial day weekend? We will be there for almost a week. Dry camping in our roo in the turn 4 campground.

Will be just 20 minutes east of the track in Concord on US Hwy 601 S. Come by and say hello, coffee pot is always on.

If you're dry camping, I have plenty of room to park.

We'll be there for both races, can't wait! Should be getting there on Monday the 12th until Labor Day. We're in the Tom Johnson lot.

Can I ask where ya'll will fill your fresh tanks? I won't carry all that weight for a 9 hour drive.

On the Charlotte Motor Speedway website it looks like they have a water fill-up & sewer pump service. Doesn't have a cost or anything though.

Will be there on the 21st staying across Hwy. 29 at Glenwood Acres RV Park. We use to dry camp outside turn 4 but I got tired of tracking red clay after a rain. Plus Glenwood Acres is closer to my seats in turn 1. If I remember correctly the water truck charges $35 to fill your fresh water tank.

Thanks. It's expensive but convenient. We will probably just do the fill truck. We stayed in the infield a few years ago but tent camped.

It's Free!!

I just got off the phone with CMS and they said that there is a dump station/water spigot outside of Turn 4 under the sign for The Nursery. I don't know how obvious it is, but she was very nice and said that I could ask anyone and they could point me to it when I got there.

Can we pull our trailer up and fill? Or is it for buckets?

I have to imagine that it's a standard campground-type dump station with a spigot and a capped hole in the concrete for the sewer dump.

If I pull up to the track and find an old-timey wooden well with a bucket on a rope, I'm going to be a little ticked.

I have used this water/dump station and it’s a mad house during the day but if you get up early or go just before bed it is a breeze. I just used 3 6gal jugs for water and a tote for Brown/gray each time I went. Bring a hose with you because no hoses were available. Go to the speedway web page under camping pick your camp area and open map and it will point it out on the map.
