How close to Cleveland? Geneva State Park is really nice and right on the lake. We have never camped there, though - every time we hit Geneva-On-the-Lake, the state park campground was already booked full and we would stay at Indian Creek RV park, which has since become part of Sun Resorts.

GOTL is about 1 hour from Cleveland.

What areas will you be visiting in CLE? Let me know and I can make some suggestions. I live 30 miles east of CLE. Agree with Sharps45120. Camped several times at Geneva State Park. Excellent base to see GOTL and surrounding area.

My Granddaughter is playing in the AC Milan Continental Cup . From what I see on the Web. Its near Hyw 224 & Lake Rd. There seems to be a park next to it . If so the Name would be great or others around that location .

I'd suggest maple lakes. It's about a 5-10 minute drive from those fields. Very quiet. I live about 2.5 miles from there. I have a pool membership to that campground and it's very nice. Although I've never camped there, we have been there a lot over the last 2 years. Seen some good improvements in that time. Know some seasonal folks who enjoy it too.
