comparison of RV camps

For those that have gone to these two campgrounds. Can you help with your opinion?

In middle of May going to Sarasota area with other 2 couples, it will be a total of 6 for us. I am looking at either Sun n Fun or Sunny South RV. We like places that have a lot of trees and foliage. Which one would you suggest. Looked at these two because we want to spend the day at Siesta Key or Lido Beach, also go to Armand Circle and do the drum circle in Sarasota Beach. But skeptical about which one to reserve. HELP.

We are first time Rvs, but before getting our own TT we were taken by a family member to Blue Waters in the Keys, which totally spoiled us for future campground expectancy... not a good thing.

loly50, you can get an idea by using campgroundreviews.com on particular campgrounds in an area you will be visiting. Also, the phone app RVParky will have reviews too. TripAdvisor such have a bunch of reviews and with your Google search. I use TA and RVParkReviews before I book almost any campground. Many seasoned campers will use Google Earth and Maps to get an overhead view of a campground, to ever measure the size of varying campsites. Your initial question may have been to specific to receive a response. Most posters will mention where they are headed and then ask for recommendations on campgrounds in the vicinity that they enjoyed and why.

Of the two, Sun & Fun is my favorite. Additionally, For the activities you want to participate in I would look at Holiday Cove and Buttonwood in Cortez. they are closer to the beaches .

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes would love to experience Holiday Cove, I called and right now they have no availability. But will continue to try.
