Question Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park

I'm headed for Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park. My directions say to take Highway 127 from Crossville, TN, to Burkesville, KY. However, I have been told that Highway 111 from Cookville, TN, to Burkesville, KY, is the much better highway - straighter and with less hills. The difference in mileage is of no concern. I'm pulling a 30 foot trailer. Is anyone familiar with these two highways and can recommend the better route?

Highway 111 would be my choice. It is 4 lane for part of the way. 127 gets a little curvey and hilly. HWY 111 dumps into 127 at the Ky line. I assume you are coming from the East and the 127 exit is 20+ miles closer and I don't know if you will make up that much time on 111, but I think 111 ia an easier tow. You can always go one way and return the other.

Thanks for the response. I'm going to take your advice and take Highway 111. I'll be traveling up to Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park for the 4th of July holiday. Again, thanks. Enjoy your holiday!
