Yep, because of Cook County and Chicago, IL is #2 for highest fuel taxes, sorry PA.

PA diesel is 74 per gallon but I think the other poster was including total with federal tax.

According to a recent article today some stations are adjusting their display board programming to be able to display $10.00+++.

You don't say what the source of this 'information' is.

To change the display boards to add another digit they will have to be completely replaced.

Depends on the display board. If it is one that just has discrete digits then yes, but some are more advanced and can display video so it's just reprogramming what gets displayed.
