Dover, Delaware RV parking

I will be attending an event at the Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover, DE.

I am wondering if anyone has local knowledge of a place within walking distance where I can park my 24 foot Sunseeker for an afternoon.

Thanks,

Bobby

Schwartz center is downtown. Really no place close enough to walk unless you like long walks. There is a Wal-Mart 5 miles away and take the $1bus. There is the Blue hen corperate center it's closer maybe 3 miles with bus service across highway with crosswalks.

There maybe a another area about 6 blocks away. Threadway towers has a multi use parking lot next to the Dover Post Office use google earth, not the easiest in and out but doable.
I will say that Route 1 tolls are $3 on weekends and $1 weekdays. I will cross the C&D Canal bridge then immediately exit Rt 1 and use Rt 13. $12 round trip on weekends is just crazy to save 20 min.

Thanks for the additional info.

I didn't know about the weekend toll being higher. I think all my travel on Rt. 1 which is not much was on weekdays.

Depending on the weather six blocks may be too much of a walk since we have to look presentable at the theater.

Thanks

I echo the earlier comments that were made.

I drove by the theater this morning on my way into work and there really is not much nearby to park. There are some parking lots to the west of the theater but they are all 6+ blocks away as well.

Thanks, I will take the car instead of the RV and allow extra time for parking.

You can't camp there unless there is an event.
