Favorite New England Camper Sites

Apologies if this has been asked before....favorite campsites for pop-ups with and without hook ups? Specifically NY, NH, VT, CT & RI. Private or State campgrounds are fine.

You don't list MA as one of your targeted states but you should! We just returned from a week on Cape Cod at Nickerson SP. No hookups but it was $22 a night (resident fee).

Most NE state parks do not have hookups, but if you are outfitted for dry camping, there are some beautiful places to stay. I'd also check out the VT SP websites as they have interactive maps that show you photos of the actual sites when you click on the site map.

Good luck!

I believe the OP was asking for recommendations, not a sarcastic comment. Very dis-courteous on your part.

Moose Hillock Camping Resort Campground In NY .
Great sites, extra large and semi private. They have done a excellent job at d designing this campground. Kids or no kids you’ll be happy with your site.

In Rhode Island we love to stay at Melville Ponds Campground. It has full hookups, but also super clean bathrooms and showers that are totally private. It's only a seven mile drive to the beaches and City of Newport.
Farther South you have Fisherman's State Park which is close to the Block Island Ferry Narragansett Bay. Perched upon a hill, it has great views of the surrounding area with full or no hookups at all.
