I remember when Destin had one grocery store, now is is almost comical with the crowds and gridlock.
I remember that, too. Until about 15 years ago, there was NOTHING much between PCB and Destin.

Now, Destin is known for gridlock over holiday weekends. Also Condo change-out day is Saturday. The mid-bay bridge is usually backed up for miles on Saturday! However, this isn't just a Destin problem. The Gulf Shores AL area is also gridlocked on Saturdays before holidays for the Condo change-outs.
