gas coming down slowly.... diesel remains stubbornly high. however, for about a week gas was higher than diesel. 3.79 gas/3.89 diesel currently in my neck of the woods. we did take a little road trip scouting out campgrounds and found gas to be cheaper by 20 cents the further east and north of st Louis I got. basically Missouri prices in rural Illinois. diesel ran about the same regardless.

Diesel is cheaper than regular in Ontario by 20 cents a litre.
Canadians seem to get the shaft on any liquid commodities.
Funny how a small mom and pop liquor store in the US can sell a magnum of Yellow Tail for 10$ and then give a 3$ rebate to top it off and our wonderfully efficient LCBO (who just happens to be the largest single buyer in the world) charges us around $28 for the same product

In CT they have not budged. Premium is higher than diesel in a lot of stations. Our wonderful governor hiked gas and diesel prices 4 cents for gas, 3.7 for diesel right before the price spike. What a tool. Timing is everything.

If prices are dropping, it is apparently time to do some refinery maintenance to sustain prices!

Since your June post, unleaded has gone up over 30 cents in SE Texas, where we usually have lower prices then much of the country. Filled up with diesel yesterday at $3.499. You have to look hard, gas buddy, for that price but lots of $3.599 per gallon.

We were in Shelton, CT weekend before last. I was glad I had a filled the tank in NJ. One Merritt Parkway station was getting $4.15/gal.

Gas is about $3.59 in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
