Thumbs up Gettysburg Campground

Our very first RV park visit. Although amenities like the pool are currently closed, the staff was attentive, pricing reasonable and offered several discounts, like military, etc. We had electric and water hookup, dump stations were clean. format of park was great, our site was right on Marsh Creek, wonderful view of water. No bugs, bathhouses and laundry are kept spotless. All in all, an excellent first experience that made my wife say, "I want to go back there again".

Plenty of trees, which got me a LITTLE worried when we had one windy day, but everything turned out fine. My site was very level, no leveling required other than the tongue jack front to back level. This place was Disney World clean, with good water and good electricity.

Glad you enjoyed it. Our well water around here is rather good. Its storming "cows and pigs" now and we have flash flood warnings. That creek has flooded a few times.

We’ve stayed at Gettysburg Campground about a half dozen times. We really like it for the reasons you’ve listed. Next time we visit Gettysburg, we’ll stay there again!

Sounds like a great place. I have to get there sometime this summer.
