Great Smoky Mountains / Cherokee, NC - weather in late November?

Anyone have any idea what the average weather is like historically for the Great Smoky Mountain (specifically Cherokee, NC) area for the last week of November?

Hoping to spend a few days there over Thanksgiving (if I get my camper back).

I glanced at Weather Underground.. I'm hoping for 25-30 overnight and 50-60 daytime temps.

OR.. am I just delusional and need to rethink this whole extravaganza?

My 2012 V-Cross 275 wouldn't do well at 25 degrees. It makes me cold just to think about it.

I'd have to use electric space heaters AND slippers. Our floor gets really cold.

Trip looks like it might now not happen.

We're heading to the west side of the park the weekend after Thanksgiving, Cades Cove campground. No hookups so we'll see how it goes with it being quite chilly.

That's too bad Doug. I must have missed an earlier thread. Why is your fiver in for service, something major?

Btw, you probably saw the weather report on the news. They had a boatload of SNOW in that area the other morning.

Jeez. No, I hadn't heard that. I was looking at a weather map and noticed cool temps all over the place- but not specifically that it snowed there. That would be cool and oh-so-not-cool at the same time.

She went back to the factory for a slideout issue. Something is digging into the underside of one of our slides, right where one of the rollers is. And then I have a short laundry list of little things that they need to do (since my dealer literally stopped working on the camper once we determined it was going back to the factory ).

Now it's a game of chicken if the camper will be back before we depart. Just swapped emails with the Sabre warranty manager yesterday and I'm not betting it'll be here in time.

Whew, good luck! I don't think I'd try it without electric hookups, at least!

You're a braver man than I to camp in that weather with no electrical hook-ups. The 12V fan on the furnace is a real power hog and will run down a set of batteries fast!

I've stayed at the KOA outside of Cherokee in similar weather, but had hookups. Nice quiet place to stay.
