Help please

Topsail SP is booked for 3rd week in July vacation so we need another place to go. We are looking at Henderson SP or Panama City RV resort. Just need to know which would be better.

I like Henderson SP, Large sites with pea gravel. We've never been to Panama City RV.

Have you thought about Gulf Shores SP? or Fort Pickens, Pensacola, FL. Both are great parks. only one level down from Top Sail

Good luck

We are going to stay 7 days there so a pool and close beach access are up on the list. The kids would like the water park for a day trip. This will be our first beach camping trip.

We stayed at Gulf Shores SP last year. The pros are it is nice big CG, nice pool area, very reasonably priced, nice golf course, convenient to town and nice ponds/lakes for paddling around. The bad for us was it is a long way to the beach, well at least too far to walk. Not as much shade as there use to be but you can find some if you look around. Also you can not pick a site on-line, you can make reservations, but not for a particular site.

You may find it next to impossible to find a site close to the Gulf for July at this late date. You need to make reservations 11 months out for that time of year. Commercial campgrounds may still have some sites.
