Yes, lots of places to have a quick snooze, if that’s what you need...
(From the RVParky app)

Only Cedar Creek State Park near Wilmington, OH...

Hamilton County ( Cincinnati area) camping at Lake Isabella off I-275 east and Winton Woods off I-275 west... a bit out of the way for either but they are available... google them as I don't know if they do reservations or not.

Near the 65 mile marker ( Washington Court House exit) you will find one of those discount store malls, where you can pull in for a few hours for a snooze, or one of the several truck stops on that exit you can do the same thing. ALso there is an interstate rest area just a mile or two north of the Washington CH exit where you can spend the night. Don't wait until too late as trucks fill those up usually after dark.

There may be private camps just south as Kings Island amusement park is just off the interstate near Mason/Kings OH... you can google those.

South Columbus is ABOUT the 100 mile marker and of course Cincinnati is at the 0 mile marker for I-71.

Hope this helps...

Looks like Caeser Creek State Park has some spots. It's about 45 miles north of Cincinnati just off I71. Nice place.

FMCA which is based in Cincinnati has their own campground. If you are a member I think you get 2 free nights a month. Small park full hookups.

Caesar’s creek near Lebanon is our go to place. Less than 10 miles away. Very nice. Not a lot of full hookups.

They will be full that weekend. But, they have walk ups if you are early.

There are several really small private parks along the way. Koa in Lebanon.

Vickilynn, you may want to download the app RVParky (free) or AllStays ( nominal fee) onto your phone. Either is in-valuable when traveling and needing a place to pull off the highway for a couple of hours sleep to spending a whole night to totally recharge your battery. My wife and I have used RVParky to travel to South Dakota, throughout New England, Michigan, Nashville, and Atlanta and not having advance reservations at any campground at given distances. I drive by how I feel each day, always giving us some leeway in our travel plans and destination.

Yep, that got me too. I had to read whole thread to get that one from context....
We have a GSP (Garden State Parkway), so brain was seeping into that territory....

This is what happens when everyone thinks the world understands the TLA or FLA that a user posts without defining it first in full letters.

BTW....
TLA means a Three Letter Acronym
FLA means Four Letter Acronym

See what I mean?

Gee I feel smart that I got VickiLynn's acronym!

And to Vickilynn, my wife and I do love the "snow" part of winter and temps in the low 20's or less. We like to X-country ski at various county parks in the area. What we hate is the roller coaster weather like next week it's supposed to be in the low 50's and a big mess!
