Sorry but no help on the route, are you coming up for the RV Show? If so hope you have reservations as everywhere fills up early if not hope your not coming when the show is going on, traffic is a nightmare. Dates are Sept 13-17

Ok good just did not want you to be disappointed, the park is only opened weekends then but the draw that week is the rv show, bring good walking shoes and enjoy

I'm not sure on the best route for you since we usually only come from Lancaster PA. We stay there over Thanksgiving every year. I want to say its a nice campground but i haven't been there in the nice seasons, i am usually there when it is cold, wet...snowy, so by that point your not walking around to much but the people are nice and the shuttle if fantastic. Usually we stay in the lower lot and the sites are all stone and ok on size.

Have fun at the show!

I-64 to I-79 to I-68 to I-81.

You could come north and get I-70 to the PA turnpike but you'll have tolls from there and I-70 in OH & PA is always under construction. Even in September.

FYI, my son was working in Harrisburg, PA, down near the river for a few months last summer and fall building big liquid storage tanks. They, another worker and him, were staying in an RV park and when it came time for the Hershey RV Show in September the park made them leave because the sites had been booked for the show. Hershey is very close to Harrisburg.
