Hurricanes have eliminated Coastal Camping?

Between Hurricane Michael hitting the Florida Panhandle in October 2018, and most recently Hurricane Dorian affecting the Coast from Florida through Georgia, and both Carolinas, Iím betting itís pretty much a sure thing that numerous campground locations throughout these two areas are all but eliminating any considerations for camping in the near future?

Best wishes for everyone affected, but given the huge number of RV units still being produced, and new campgrounds not keeping pace, availability is and will continue to be a major concern going forward.

Just thinking out loud.

Are you saying for new campgrounds ?? ..............or..........

I can say that the campgrounds on the ocean in Myrtle Beach SC reopened with in a couple of days of Dorian or any other Hurricane that has passed through. This is true of the past 40 years.

I was at the KOA in Myrtle Beach Friday after Dorian and they were fine. Cleaning up but fine. The KOA at Mt Pleasant in Charleston also open. on Sunday. Cleaning up but fine.

That's all I can speak for.
