Kentucky

Will be going to Natural Bridge S/P in eastern KY in about a week & 1/2 for eight days. Anyone ever been there & can give info. Looking forward to it as we live in NE Florida & can stand some cooler air. Also plan to see Red River Gorge & Cumberland Fall.
Happy Camping

Been there a few times. Have you reserved your spot yet? Cumberland Falls is a little bit of a drive from Natural Bridge.

Have reservations. Don't mind the drive to Cumberland Falls if it worth the trip.

If you are going during a full moon, it will be worth the trip to go see the moon bow at the falls. Also, depending on the campground you are going to, some of the sites are a little tight. Bath houses are pretty clean. The lower campground has a stream running through it that has trout in it. Seen a few caught out of there. There is also a chair lift going up to the top that is a very nice ride on a warm day. Doubt you will be disappointed going there.

Cumberland Falls is worth the trip!! You will be going in the dry season
when it's still decent. Hike down stream a mile to see more of
the topography close up. They might call that the rainbow trail or something.... it's been a few years.

Here is a link to Cumberland Falls after a 5" spring rain! Taken by me!!

You WON'T see it like this but it's still pretty cool place to visit.
