Kid friendly family park in western mass

Looking for a kid friendly park in Western Mass. Berkshires area. Needs to have nice playgrounds and activities geared toward young kids 3-7. Something nice and clean. A good camp store is a plus. Mostly just stuff to keep the kids busy. Not just a pond.

I looked at that one. A little far, but looked great for the kids. I called 5 times this week all different times. No answer, or even a machine

In Hampshire county the KOA in Westhampton was good, pool lots of activities on the weekends, everyone was very friendly.

Pine acres came highly recommended to us but haven't been yet. We haven't stayed anywhere in the Berkshires yet so I can't say where is the best up that way.

You should also look at Prospect mountain, about 30 miles west of Springfield. It is in the mountains and has a full schedule of activities for kids.

Check http://www.sodommountain.com/
The name sounds weird, but that IS the name of the Mountain.

Kid friendly Campgroung

We took our granddaughter to a place called Peppermint Park in Plainville MA just west of Greenfield. This is located off the Mohawk Trail. They have a pool, playground and activities as well as a small camp store. Quiet park and very nice sites. Peppermint Park Camping Resort - Family Camping in the Massachusetts Berkshires

We have stayed at Pine Acres and would highly recommend it for kids. We plan to go back and do a little fall camping there this year.

It depends on how you define "Kid Friendly" Six Flags or lake activities (sandy beaches, swimming, kaiaking, fishing and camp activities)... if the latter try Prospect Lake Park
Full hook ups and great area attractions

Happy Trails

May be further than you want but we just came back from Copake KOA in Copake, NY. Just over the border and about 20 minutes to Great Barrington. Had our 12 year old grandson with us. We loved the park so much that we stayed there again on our way back to MI. Catamount Aerial Adventure Park is a few miles from the campground and we had a heck of a time there. This old lady Zip Lined and crawled around all kinds of obstacles in the trees.

Why does that one look like a trailer park in the sense that the whole campground appears to be seasonal sites?

Parks with a very large proportion of seasonal sites tend to have a different culture than parks that cater to transient campers.

Vin.
