KOA Chincoteague

We are heading to the KOA in Chincoteague next week. It looks like it is pretty new and the reviews seem to be ok. We are looking forward to a quiet weekend in a small town.

Have fun. Actually it is the old Maddox family campground that became a KOA a couple of years ago. The water park was new last year and pretty nice (though the snack bar was very slow). They have been doing upgrades to the campground since the conversion. Hope you have great weather. We will be in Chincoteague in about 4 weeks.

Chincoteague may not be so quiet since school is still out. Make sure you stop by Mister Whippy's for ice cream and if you like seafood go to Wright's Seafood Restaurant overlooking Watts Bay.

HAHA! When I spoke of a quiet weekend I was really talking about MY OWN family Will try Wright's!

I just did a google search and it says Wrights is now closed for good. Sorry for the misinformation. It was a good place to go. Another search says it was renamed to The Water's edge. I hope it is still the same quality.
