Lake George NY to Ashland NH

Upconing trip to lake george ny then to Ashland NH via US route 4 though Vermont and into NH via NH 118 then NH 25. Anyone know if any problems towing 38 ft 5th wheel along these routes...low overheads or weight restrictions?

I have only been out that way without the trailer but don't recall there being any problems. Where in Ashland are you staying?

You must have kids if you are heading there. There is a great little campground not to far from there called Ames Brook. We spend a lot of weekends there, but it's only the two of us and we don't need all the activities. Enjoy your trip.

118 is a great road. Nicely paved and you shouldn't have any issues with weight. 25 is a "main" non highway the meanders through central NH. Again no issue with weight or getting through with your fiver. Trying to be politically correct...Yogi Bear in Ashland is an ok place. Over the years it has gone downhill, their "water park" is a bunch of inflatable slides and stuff that they just put in their pool area. If you want a great campground for the kids complete with a pirate ship in the pool check out Moose Hillock in Warrent NH which is right off 118. Just spent a week there this summer, lots of activities for the kids, awesome pool, and a great campground all together! Good luck on your trip!
