Lexington Kentucky

Looking for a recommendation for an overnighter on our way down to Tennessee. This is halfway and we are going to stop for a day. Thanks

Just north of Lexington is the Kentucky Horse Park. There is a campground there. It's just off I-75 right before it meets up with I-64. There's not a lot of trees, but for overnight it should work.

X2 on Ky horse park. We've stayed there multiple times in the summer.
They have a decent pool and a great bicycle path if you have time....
Also there is almost always something going on in the arena. It's free most of the time if you want to see horses do their stuff. Easy bike ride from the CG.
Reservations recommended as they can be fairly busy if there is a big horse show/competition during your stay.

Another vote for the horse park. We have stayed several times, sometimes just overnight, sometimes for a few days. Always been a good stopover place for us.
