Almost positive they have open sites here in Oak Haven RV Park. We are 10 miles N of Port Charlotte, 12 miles S of Arcadia.
I realize it's a bit of a drive, but thought I'd help you out a little.
Sorry, but my F-150 can't handle your 5th.

There are several resorts where you can rent a space by the month. Unfortunately, I am not sure how many where you currently are but there are several in the Orlando area.

FLHP was very nice, but told me that this happens all the time here, with no license, no insurance, warrant, etc. Insurance is taking care of the truck, and it's in the body shop now. Expected completion date ??? Problem is that my reservation here ends on Jan. 12th. No amount of negotiations with them have worked, they are at max capacity on the 13-18th for the big Tampa RV show. With no tow vehicle, I can't move my 42' 18,000 lb 5th wheel. Coach net will move it, but there is nowhere to go. Every campground is booked. We did get a rental car, and we could get a hotel, but we have our 3 dogs with us. I have called 12 campgrounds, all full. We need to stay in the area, but have now expanded our search. Gotta wait till Monday the 4th to start trying again.
I'm sure it will all work out, just venting a bit!

Man that a brutal scenario. I was just in Florida last week and didn't know that was a problem there. Do a quick Google search. Maybe find a dealer that sells your model trailer. Perhaps they can let you park it there for a few days and coach net can move it there? Maybe they let you store it short term? Maybe there is something that you want to have them check on the fiver, wink wink. Obviously you would probably need a hote room but your RV insurance may cover that. I believe my GEICO policy would.

I would be surprised if shop could not have truck done before the 12th. I had worse damage than that on my wife's truck and was fixed good as new in 8 days. have your insurance company fin d you a location to put it after all it should be covered.

Make the truck drive able and the get it
repaired at home.
Hit a moose ones in Northern Canada, had the windshield
repaired the same day, tied everything together and kept going,
all the way to Alaska, back through a British Columbia, Washington
State, back accross the US and home to Ottawa and then had
it repaired. Don't let a bump spoil your holiday, metal can be repaired.

Does Florida have casinos? They offer free campgrounds and free hookups at most of them here in the Midwest. Walmart is well known for allowing RVs to use the outer areas of the parking lots but still check with the store manager. Also be sure to check your insurance they may cover the cost of your hotel room and car rental for a few days. (mine covers rental car and hotel when traveling) Look for a hotel like comfort Inn that accepts dogs and that has a large parking lot that would allow you to park your RV in the parking lot. Maybe even call around for a different repair place that can get the repairs done sooner or wait until you get home to get the repairs done.. considering the picture is that light working? maybe not drive at night or just have the Florida mechanic fix the light and do the other repairs later.. from the pics the damage looks drivable/towing ok?).

go to allstays.com Their website lists every campsite in Florida. You will have better luck the further north you go, like Spring Hill

If you can get up here to the Georgia/Florida line there are many, many campgrounds to choose from.

Contact your insurance company they have to provide you with the like kind replacement. It's the law. It has to be the same size truck you have. Go home with your camper and they will have to get your truck home to you.

Here's a resource run by the state to find (free) camping. I have never been turned down for a reservation. You generally can only have an rv in the equestrian areas. There have never been any other rv's there either. Maybe worth a shot?
