Navy Recreation Center Solomons

Has anyone camped at the Navy Recreation Center Solomons in Virginia? We have a reservation for later in the month and I was wondering what people thought of their time and experience at the Center. Thanks,

George We haven't camped there for years. But when we did, it was great. At that time there were a few full timers camping there that move south to Tampa for the winter. There are some good resturants on the island of Solomons. Also fishing is good and they have a good tacle shop.

Hi,
Camped there the summer of 2003 and it was beautiful. The travel to the cg was longer than expected but on the water it is great and for the price worth it.
