New York city

Any info on camping near ny city coming from nc we want to tour the city a couple of days either with tour on our own or both we have never been to city before or camped near it Thanks

You can either drive in or take the train in from a nearby Metro-North Station (Beacon, NY)

They also offer bus tours. There is a lot of other things to do near by. West Point, Walk way over the Hudson and Hyde Park.

Nice campground we stay there several times a year.

There are many things to consider. I suggest Liberty Harbor RV Park. That would be the easiest. Your main destination is Manhattan, that is where most of your initial "things to do" should start. Do this prior to arrival; download a NY transit (subway) map, as that will be your cheapest get around. Manhattan is layed out with "streets" running E. &W., avenues running N. & S.

Thanks Stillkicking I'm not that far yet still pondering over NY and a lake in nc or Tennessee mountains don't like to do the same thing haven't never stayed on lake in mountains all over mountains but never a lake kinda looking at feedback from the guys and girls who have been there and done that
