And that would explain why you are not phased towing the equivalent of a tractor trailer on vacation! Whenever I see guys (never girls for some reason, lol) towing such huge trailers, I gotta say I scratch my head and wonder how that could ever be relaxing on vacation.

I am retired from UPS now but my line was on vacation I get to tow a trailer where I want to . Now I look at it as it's safer towing because I know I can STOP it.

How odd is it that I used that pic to tease you with, and it turns out you drove 'em your whole life, and for UPS to boot!

Heading to Turkey Swamp 4/12-4/14... if anyone is around or would like to stop by... don't know which site yet - will probably book by end of the week...

Allaire Village is holding a flea market that weekend as well. Cool NJ State Park / restored blast furnace village worth visiting if you have never been. They have a bunch of events throughout the year worth seeing.

If you guys want any pics or video of particular sites or areas LMK... I usually walk the CG with coffee in the AM...

We prefer senior drivers, really on the east coast only doubles, the triples seem to start in Ohio and head west, pay rate was only 55 cents a hour more for doubles then I think a extra 10 cents for triples, doubles are plenty I figure they could keep their dime!!!!

I have never seen tripples in the North east. Only west and some in the south.

Dieselbobcat, Great Idea....see if can spot a nice long one for dblr

To everyone else, I will be away fro 4/10 to 5/1. I was really hoping that we can do this in either early June or Late June. I am open to weekend or weekday.

there was a suggestion that we all (or most meet for coffee beforehand to discuss more plans, Turkey Swamp was just my thought ( actually nobody as come up with another place).

So by show of Post. Yay or nay to a face to face plan for the event ?

Turkey Swamp is fine for me. A get together over coffee would help to set up and plan a get together. I am sure there are many plans set up already for this seasons camping with several rally s and other things happening.

I'm fine doing arrangements online. It's a bit of a hike for me to get down there just for a cup of coffee/meet. Right now June is wide open for us.

NJ Meet & Greet

June is gonna be difficult... dblr has Brass Ring Rally that he is running mid June., and I have Gettysburg Rally end of June... Father’s Day also in the mix there...

Spot long enough for Rennie isn’t a issue... it’s getting him in and out of the loops...if you haven’t been to Turkey Swamp it’s hard to picture... the roads are like a lazy slalom with trees on each of the turns... most of the limbs are clear to 11’ or 12’ but some of the tree trunks are leaning towards the road as well... roads aren’t much wider than single lane... not sure if exact numbers but I’m guessing he is north of 65’ combined... not to mention his heights.

Pictures in a couple weeks will help folks decide...
