Franconia KOA is gorgeous and located central to see so much in the area.

Interesting, maybe there are multiples and sorry for not specifying. This is 1000 Islands / Association Island located at 15530 Snowshoe Rd, Henderson NY.
Our second favorite seafood restaurant is in Saco. Rising Tide is way out at the end of land by the boat ramp. It is small, about 8 tables inside, and very popular. Great lobster! Go early (5:00-5:30) to avoid a long wait.

We stayed here last year for the first time. Nice campground right on the water with their own boat docks. Big campground with lots of sites. Bugs (no seeums) were bad when we last year in August but wouldn’t deter us from going again.
