Northern Maryland / pa campsites

We are looking for a site in this area we found a place called twin bridge meadow family camp ground (has Rv spots) in gardener pa and also pine grove - furnace state park which has a few electrical hookups. Anyone been to either or have a suggestions?

Pine Grover Furnace State Park is my absolute favorite park anywhere that I've been. It is filled with childhood memories and wonderful camping trips with my dad + family. In fact, my wife and I spent our first anniversary camping there.

Learn To RV: Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Gardners, PA

There's also a Maryland state park up north that a lot of people rave about- Elk Neck, maybe?

While you are in Md. if you want to see DC, stay at the Cherry Hill Park in College Park Md. They have a Metro bus that comes into the campground and will take to the Metrorail station, then take that into DC, best way to see DC.

How long you gonna carry that grudge. The Civil War was over 150 years ago. We are the United States of America

Elk neck is a very nice campground. Pine grove is very nice. Been to both of those. Also in that area is calidonia, Gifford pinchott, and cowans gap state parks in the surrounding areas of Pine Grove furnace. Gifford Pinchot even have full hookups if your interested in that.
