November weather in Pinehurst, NC

ALL,

We are looking at a week trip to Pine Hurst, NC in late November for Thanksgiving. It has been a long time since I have been on the East Coast for Fall and Winter. I was wondering if anyone has camped in that area around T-Day and what the weather was like? Thanks,

November is usually pretty nice in central NC. You could get nighttime temps in the 40s but that would be the extreme. I would expect daytime temps in the 60s and 70s and sometimes it will even get in the 80s. November is a transitional month so the weather can be unpredictable.

If you are going to Pinehurst for the golf, it would likely be "sweater weather."

BTW, if you are so inclined, take in the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville. A first class attraction.

Thanks All. I think it will be a nice way to spend Thanksgiving and squeeze one last outing in before winterizing the TT and calling.g it quits for 2010. I will have to check out the SOF museum. I just retired from WARCOM in San Diego where I worked Logistics for the SEALs. I do plan on a round or two as well. Appreciate the information,
