It will be February before we go, somewhere around the 13. I'm going to Ft. Fisher on the day after Thanksgiving, it's a little ways south of Wilmington NC. I plan to stay a week, it's a military campground

Going to Huntington Beach SP, the park map says all the RV and tent sites are full. Should be a nice weekend.

I like crab legs and lobster and Crabby Mike had those two items on the menu, it just cost some. But it's worth it. We took a trip to Maine this year just to eat lobster. Anyway where is some good places to eat that you like at Myrtle Beach

McDonalds is better................... than Crabby Mikes as the DW says anywhere is better than there. Over priced canned food. Sorry everyone has an opinion.
Sea Captains House and can't think of the name of the one in Murrells Inlet

I'll agree with that! I live less than an hour from there. If you want to overpay for sea food MB is the best place to do it. I'd go to Giant Crab or Bennett's before Mikes but none are great, just expensive for the tourists. I generally catch what we eat but if crab legs are desired Platts seafood in North Myrtle where I buy by the 10# box. At times we have them steam them a few # for dinner. I'll have them steam oysters, clams, and shrimp ~ they can toss in a potato or 2 also. Bring it home and eat fresh seafood at a lower price. Shrimp there is local, not imported from Asia.

I cook seafood sometimes but I like to go out, we don't have dishes or anything, just eat and leave. McDonalds is the last place I ever eat at. Maybe take the great granddaughter to play land. Anyway I like Crabby Mike, I know it's over priced for tourists. I like the Red Lobster too but not a the coast

Sara J's at Murrell's Inlet is a good seafood place. It's a little pricey, but good.

Ahh Myrtle Beach. Been going there for over 60 years. Favorite restaurant is Hoskins in North Myrtle Beach, been there over 50 years - Family owned and operated. I ate there the first time when I was 16 yrs old and just went there again this year and all the times in between. Good food, not touristy - just a restaurant.

SPOC 123 Mr. Fish in Myrtle is good. Greg's in Surf Side on 17 is a great local place and a great deal.

I never could figure why people come here and eat at the chains or tourist rip joints. We have some favorites but not in Myrtle. More in NC ~~ better food, better prices, less traffic, and few tourists.

Should be a good trip. We live in Dunn and have spent many Thanksgiving's at beach. Can be hard to find restaurants open, but overall good. Have fun.

I don't think when I'm in Myrtle Beach I want to drive back to NC to eat. I have been to other places in Myrtle Beach to eat at. DW always loves the Olive Garden. Sometimes we eat out a lot and sometimes not. We normally eat at places we can't find at home when we travel
