Parking at Port Canaveral Cruise Port

Hello All,
Has anyone ever parked their rv at the port Canaveral parking lot. Going on a disney cruise in August and I know you can park in the open section of Terminal 8 but was wondering i we arrive friday evening around 6 pm can we stay overnight in the rv. Crise leaves on saturday afternoon.

Thanks all

I'm sure you can if they don't know you're there.... : )

but, then again, if your ticket for departure is the next day, they may not yet even let you park...

try a walmart or church parking lot somewhere in the area...for an overnight

we actually found a nice church that let us park our coach there for the week, nice.
no charge, and they even dropped us off and picked us up ... : )

Not sure if they would let you stay overnight in your unit due to security reasons. However, there is a campground at Jetty park which is on Port property & is only about a mile or so from terminal 8. You could stay there overnight & then relocate to the terminal 8 open area parking.

Jetty park is right at the mouth of the harbor, and one of the draws that people have for staying there is the beach & watching the ships going in and out of the Port.

I'm just curious why you don't call them directly and ask. That's what I would do.

Yes. We did that. We parked our 5th Wheel at "ParknCruise on Merritt Island.

I would call them just to go over your size requirements, then they'll be able to give you a price. We paid $158.00 for 7 nights for our 5th while and truck. They offer free shuttles to the cruise terminals.

btw we stayed at Jetty Park prior to and after the cruise, but they were not able to help us with storage while on the cruise

They don't have any hookups. We shut down the frig for the cruise. Also, We didn't ask about staying in it overnight, because we we already at Jetty park, but I doubt they would allow that for security reasons.

Thanks folks. Going to stay at Jetty Park the night before. Have to pay for 2 nights since it is the weekend but only 40 per night. Thanks for your assistance and ideas.

I think you'll like Jetty Park. You'll see all the cruise sail by your campsite and even hear the Disney Ships play their songs withe the ship's horns. Try to make time to walk out onto the fishing Jetty.
