Pennsylvania: Route 220 south from Turnpike to I-68 W (MD)

Planning a trip in a few days, and the only part of the route I am not sure about, as far if there are steep hills and is it "real" highway or "business route" highway with random stop lights and such, is PA Route 220 south starting at its crossing of the PA Turnpike (I-76) and down to the merge on to I-68 W (MD). I do not want to cut over to I-70 and take that to 68, if I can avoid it. Can anyone give me the lay of the land on that stretch of 220 South?

Check it out on Satellite View. It appears to be two lane with at grade side and crossroads through mostly farm country. In general, North/South routes in that part of PA tend to run in the valleys, while the East/West routes go up and down crossing the mountains/hills.
