We stayed overnight at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort last year. Nice place - heavy on the concrete and blacktop, but had the nicest bathhouses I've ever been in.

We like River Plantation. Nice sites with concrete patios.

We almost overnighted here. But, curiosity of what a "luxury RV resort" was got the best of us and costed us an extra $20!

They have some "Premium" sites that are more expensive but if my old brain remembers correctly we paid less than $35 with Good Sam discount. It is a nice campground but "Luxury RV Resort" is probably a bit of marketing.

Sorry, I wasn't clear... The Two Rivers RV Resort was the "luxury" place we stayed at instead of River Plantation. We considered both when we were looking for an overnight in that area.

We're in Pigeon Forge right now at Pine Mountain RV Park by the Creek.
Very nice park - large pull-through and back-in sites, all roads paved, level concrete pads, paved parking area (no gravel anywhere), nicely landscaped, wifi, cable TV, 30/50 amp full hook ups. Pet friendly also.
They have a splash pool, and you can also use the indoor/outdoor pool at the MainStay Suites next door.
While we haven't used them, the shower hose and restrooms are super nice and clean.
Drawbacks - no playground or pet play area, but who needs a playground with Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Severville, and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park all within 10 miles.
The park is two blocks off of the Parkway, close to everything (light No. 6), but quiet - no road noise or noise from the Parkway.
This is a realitively new park, I think it's only 5 or so years old, so with exception of the creek side sites, no huge trees, but each site has at least one 20'-25' tree on it.
We will definitely come back to this park the next time we are in the area!

Make sure you go to the Dixie Stampede. Get down there early in the morning to get tickets, it fills quick.

We went last time we were here three or fours years ago. You're right, it's great! Going again tomorrow night.

[QUOTE=RJHuser;376976]We're in Pigeon Forge right now at Pine Mountain RV Park by the Creek.
Iv'e not stayed anywhere else but Pine Mtn but RJHuser is right on! Wonderfully new, clean, nicely landscaped with poured pads and patio. I was there last 7/4 for a week with 4 kids 10 & under. It was not an issue without a playground. We backed up to the creek. Plenty of good surface for scooters and bike riding. The pool fit each age.The bathhouse rivals that at Fort Wilderness at Disney World. If you go at the end of June and stay there we may meet you...we are there beginning 7/3-7-12...I highly recommend this RV Park!! Let me know if you book so we can plan on having our own little FROG rally...or better yet....lets get more FROGS on board..

We stayed at Mill Creek Resort for $10 a night using Coast to Coast. Older park, and not much of a resort but ok. The trolley comes by every 15 minutes and will take you down to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. Trolley also runs by several other campgrounds along the route. BTW, the Titanic museum is also well worth the ticket price.

I stayed at twin mountain RV park next to pine mountain but pine mountain looked nicer. I was backed up to the little pigeon river tho. That was nice.
