Little Arrow Resort in Townsend is a beautiful campground. It is immediately adjacent to the NP and NP entrance. They took over Tremont Resort last year and totally, and I mean totally, redid the entire park.

The people at River Plantation Sevierville TN told me they were building a new campground that was going to be built like Anchor Downs, they said it would open in 2019

I agree , very nice campground for the price. Also close to the parkway. Easy in and out. Going there in july/august .

Anchor Down is really nice if you don’t mind a bit of a drive to Pigeon Forge, Up the Creek is nice, but not a lot for kids to do.
