Planning a trip (August 2015) MA/ME/NH

Anyone have any feedback on Glen Ellis Family Campground (Glen, NH), Bar Harbor Campground (Bar Harbor, ME) or Boston Minuteman Campground (Littleton, MA)?

Planning a two week trip from northern NJ to Boston Minuteman, visit Boston for a couple of days... then to Bar Harbor Campground to do Acadia for a week... then to Glen Ellis Family Campground in the White Mountains of NH to see Mt Washington.

Looking for ideas, tips, must see/must do's for all three stops. We have received some great info in the past from FRF members.

Thanks in advance!

I had friends that stayed at Glen in August and they loved it. We stated at Saco Family Campground in North Conway which is other end of route 16 from Glen and we loved it! We stayed at minuteman too in September and that was also great! It's small but very picturesque. It was pretty quiet when we were there the 2nd week of September but the kids had fun, pool was open!

We stayed at Minuteman in July 2012, nice park with large sites, lots of big trees, good pool. Took a boat tour of Boston Harbor (very interesting) and a bus tour of the historic downtown. Also had lunch at Cheers.

We have stayed at Boston Minuteman the last 3 years for a weekend each. My daughter had a ball tournament in the area. Very clean and well run. Lots of big rigs there. Handy to the train into Boston. About a mile off of interstate 495. There are no seasonal sites so there is less clutter and plenty of turnover.
